Doctor Catherine Kister OD
Catherine Kister, O.D. is a native midwesterner, who has greatly enjoyed her move to the coast. Catherine graduated with honors from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree graduating from the University of Missouri - St. Louis College of Optometry with honors. Dr. Kister has had advanced training in contact lenses, including specialty contact lenses, pediatric optometry, low vision rehabilitation, and ocular disease management.
Doctor Michael D. Criswell OD
Michael D Criswell, O.D. is a board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is licensed to practice medical optometry in the state of South Carolina.
Michael grew up in the steel mill town of New Castle, Pennsylvania but moved to the southeast before his first year of high school. He attended high school at Venice High in Florida until his family moved to Greenport, New York where he graduated in 1990. Michael moved to the midwest to attend college and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Saint Louis University.
Dr. Criswell's optometric degree was earned at the University of Missouri's College of Optometry, where he graduated with honors and was named to the optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa in his first professional year. While at the University of Missouri, he obtained exensive training in Specialty Contact Lenses and Ocular Disease.
